The event is cancelled. It had been planned as a 10K obstacle course at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine, intended to honor fallen service members from the local community.

The format described a ruck event in which participants carry packs while moving over trails and then complete a final obstacle sequence called The Crucible, which includes more than 20 distinct obstacles. Eligibility for individual prizes required participants to ruck the entire 10K course with a pack, except while traversing obstacles, and to complete The Crucible in its entirety.

A team category was included in the plans. Team prize eligibility required registration of at least three members per team, and each team member was required to ruck the full 10K course with a pack and complete The Crucible. The posted registration fee for each entrant was $35.00.

Registration windows listed in the event details showed openings on August 10, 2025. Adult and team registration windows were scheduled to close on August 30, 2025, while youth registration was scheduled to close on November 1, 2025. Riverlands 100 is a 100 mile trail race at Androscoggin Riverlands State Park in Turner, Maine. Solo runners run four 25 mile laps; invited five person relay teams split the course. This edition is planned as the event's final running.
