Trust Trail Fest

Trust Trail Fest : Kennebunkport Conservation Trust

Trust Trail Fest consists of trail races held at the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust headquarters on the Emmons Preserve. Participants may choose between two distances:

  • 5k trail race
  • 10k trail race

The courses run on forest trails that include rocks, roots and possible mud, so the surface is uneven. Registration and bib and t-shirt pick up are available on site with separate lines for preregistered and day-of participants. Parking is available on the roadside about a quarter mile from the headquarters; volunteers will direct vehicles. Parking at the headquarters is reserved for vendors, race staff and emergency vehicles, though drop-off at the building is permitted before moving to the parking field. Runners may leave backpacks and other gear in the lower level of the headquarters building during the event.

The finish area at the headquarters continues as a festival with music, a beer tent, food and family games. Runners over 21 receive a complimentary beer from Batson River Brewery after the race. Proceeds from the trail races benefit the Trust in Education programs run by the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
