November 2026

Support student programs and the Oakland Tech Cross Country team at Joaquin Miller Park. Choose between a five kilometer trail race or a one mile fun run through the redwood trees.

On November 7, 2026 the Mt. Tam Trail Run at Stinson Beach offers 10K, half marathon, 30K and 50K trail races with large elevation gains on technical dirt trails. The event is cupless and limited to 500 runners.

A 28.4 mile out and back on the Dipsea Trail from Old Mill Park to Stinson Beach, repeated four times for the Quad. The route includes about 9,000 feet of climbing, stairs, named trail sections, aid stations, and strict time cutoffs.

December 2026

A seasonal cross country event in San Francisco on 12/6/2026 with live and virtual options. Distances include a 5K, 10K, and a nine mile course; all entrants receive race swag and there is a pre race bib and shirt pickup with Brewfest.

January 2027

A trail running event that crosses the Golden Gate Bridge into the Marin Headlands. Races include 15K, 25K, 50K and 50 mile options on January 23 to 24, 2027, organized by Spartan Trail.

February 2027

Experience the coastal beauty of the Marin Headlands at the Golden Gate Trail Run. Choose from distances ranging from a 50K trail race to a fun kids dash with views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco.

Run or walk along the San Francisco Bay starting from the San Leandro Marina. Choose from half marathon, 10K, or 5K distances with professional timing and custom finisher medals for all participants.

Montara Mountain Trail Run on February 20, 2027 in San Pedro Valley Park offers distances from a free 50 yard kids dash to a 50K, with marked trails, cupless aid stations every 6 to 7 miles, and substantial elevation gain on many courses.

Experience a trail run across the forest and hills of Angel Island with views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate. Choose from multiple race distances including a youth dash and enjoy a picnic at Ayala Cove.

March 2027

A three day trail running weekend in Marin County offering a point to point 100K plus single loop 50K and 28K that summit Loma Alta and Big Rock Ridge.

Multiple trail distances run through Redwood Regional Park on March 20, 2027 at Chabot Space & Science Center. Routes use East Ridge, West Ridge, Stream and Bridle trails and distances were measured with a Rolatape surveyor's wheel.

An hourly backyard ultra on Dry Creek Parkway near Sacramento where runners repeat a 4.16 mile loop until only one completes the most yards. Each loop must be finished within the hour and the last runner to complete a loop wins.

April 2027

A trail running event at Mount Diablo on April 3, 2027 offering 50K, half marathon, 10K and 5K options; registration includes a remote-runner option and BBQ ticket. Part of the entry fees support Save Mount Diablo's land preservation.

A 50K trail race on Northern California’s Mendocino Coast, starting at Big River State Beach and passing river, ocean, redwood and waterfall scenery. Races are listed in April with recent dates including 2025 and 2027.

May 2027

A timed half marathon through eight Napa Valley wine estates finishing in Yountville. The event includes a finish line Wine Village with live music and complimentary wine tastings.

A community trail run and hike on May 8, 2027 at the Point Arena and Stornetta Lands, co-hosted by ACORN and Pacific Community Charter School. Proceeds support the Students Protecting the Coast environmental education program.
