Check-in and bib/shirt pick-up begin at the Chabot Space & Science Center on race day. Parking is free. Drop bags are permitted for the 30K, Marathon, and 50K at the pass-through aid station.

Course, aid, and rules

The course runs through Redwood Regional Park, using East Ridge, West Ridge, Stream, and Bridle trails. Routes are color coded and marked with ribbon roughly every 200 yards; polka-dot flagging marks turns and blue ribbons indicate wrong-way junctions. Surface and elevation gain vary by distance (examples: Half Marathon elevation gain 1,530 ft; Marathon gain 3,070 ft). Aid stations are fully stocked every 5–6 miles with fruit, salty snacks, candy, water, and Skratch electrolyte drink; runners are advised to carry at least 20 oz. of water between stations. The event is cupless; participants should bring their own fluid container. Headphones are allowed only on dirt road sections. No dogs are allowed on course.
