Angel Island Half Marathon & 10K - 36th Annual
The event takes place on August 29, 2026 at Angel Island State Park, Belvedere Tiburon, CA. It is a loop trail that circumnavigates Angel Island and offers views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, Alcatraz Island, the East Bay and Marin County. The field is limited to 400 participants.

- 10K - one loop of the island course
The course is described as hilly and will be marked with orange ribbon at crossings and turns. There are no aid stations on the course; aid is available before the half marathon second loop, and food and drink are provided at the finish. Runners are advised to carry water. Course cut-off time is 3.5 hours; half marathoners must complete the first loop within 1 hour 30 minutes.
Logistics note that race pricing includes the ferry fee and that athletes must take a chartered ferry from the Tiburon ferry dock to participate. Ferries from Angel Island return to Tiburon on an hourly schedule. Spectator ferry fees are listed by age. Bib numbers are mailed beginning two weeks before the event; on-site bib pickup is available at the Tiburon ferry dock on race morning. Headphones and audio devices are not allowed on course for safety reasons.
Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refund protection cannot be added after checkout; without it, cancellations before July 29, 2026 may receive a rollover credit minus a $20 fee, and after that date a doctor's note is required for credit.
