2026 Angel Island Half Marathon and 10K
The event is the 36th annual running on Angel Island State Park near Tiburon, California. The course is a hilly loop that circumnavigates the island and offers panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, Alcatraz Island, the East Bay and Marin County. The 10K is a single loop and the Half Marathon completes the loop twice. The field is limited to 400 participants.

Course and on-course services are described as follows. The course will be marked with orange ribbon where trails cross or turns are required. There are no aid stations out on the course; aid will be available before the second loop for Half Marathon participants and food and drink will be available at the finish. Half Marathon runners must check in at the aid station before starting the second loop. Runners are advised to carry water. Course cut-off time is 3.5 hours; Half Marathoners must complete the first loop in 1 hour 30 minutes.
Logistics notes include mailed bib numbers beginning about two weeks before the event, on-site bib pick up at the Tiburon ferry dock for those who need it, mandatory athlete ferry transport to the island from Tiburon, spectator ferry fees, parking fees in Tiburon lots, a no headphones policy on narrow trails, and non refundable registration terms with limited rollover credit rules.
