Dirty Dozen Endurance Run 2026
The Dirty Dozen Endurance Run is a timed event held at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline in Richmond, California. Participants can choose between three distinct time formats, including the 12-hour Dirty Dozen, the 6-hour Dirty Half Dozen, and the 3-hour Quarter Dozen. These events focus on cumulative distance rather than a specific finishing time. Completion of a single lap qualifies a participant as a finisher.
The course consists of a 3.37-mile loop. The terrain is composed of 98% dirt fire trails, featuring a gentle profile that passes along the shoreline and through eucalyptus groves. Runners have views of various bridges and mountains during the coastal sections of the loop.
Participants can enter as individuals or as part of a team consisting of two or three people. Teams can rotate runners in any order to contribute to a total team distance. Because the course is a loop, participants pass the start/finish area frequently, allowing access to support, gear changes, and nutrition.
Registration includes access to an all-day picnic with various hot and cold food options. Support crews are permitted to set up personal aid stations near the start/finish area.
