Dirty Dozen Endurance Run

The Dirty Dozen Endurance Run takes place at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline on July 25, 2026. The event consists of timed loop races held simultaneously in three durations:

  • 12 hour race
  • 6 hour race
  • 3 hour race

Races may be entered by individuals or by teams of two or three. The course is a single loop of 3.37 miles, composed of about 98% dirt fire trails. The route follows the shoreline with expansive views of multiple bridges and mountains, then returns through eucalyptus groves.

Anyone who completes a single lap is recorded as a finisher regardless of their total accumulated time. Hikers and walkers are also welcome to use the loop. Entry for participants includes an all-day barbecue and picnic as part of the event experience.

The event information notes on-site party elements and volunteer opportunities. The course layout and the loop format allow participants to run multiple laps within their chosen time window. Surface and scenery descriptions indicate mostly natural trail conditions with coastal and grove sections. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
