Dirty Dozen Endurance Run 2026

Dirty Dozen Endurance Run 2026 takes place at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline in Richmond, California on July 25, 2026. The event runs three timed endurance races concurrently and uses a repeated loop course.

Distances:

  • 12 hour endurance run
  • 6 hour endurance run
  • 3 hour endurance run

Entrants may compete as individuals or in teams of two or three. Teams may alternate laps in any order to create a combined team distance. Anyone who completes a single lap is recorded as a finisher.

The course is a gentle 3.37 mile loop composed of roughly 98% dirt fire trails. The route runs along the shoreline with views of multiple bridges and mountains and returns through eucalyptus groves. Runners pass the start and finish area on every lap, which allows easy access to personal supplies, clothing changes, and support crew stations near the lap area.

Entry to any race includes an all day picnic with a variety of hot and cold food available. The event description notes that participants use the timed format in different ways, for example to measure distance covered in a set time or to pursue a specific goal distance without cutoffs.
