Skyline 50K Endurance Run takes place on August 2, 2026, at Lake Chabot Marina in Castro Valley, California. The event offers the following distances:

Course and race details

The course starts and finishes at Lake Chabot Marina and follows a large loop through the East Bay Regional Parks, reaching Skyline Gate. Organizers provide course maps, GPX files, and athlete guides with aid station locations, cutoffs, and crew information.

Aid stations are staffed by regional running groups, and a Volunteer Safety Patrol provides direction at key intersections. Post-race offerings have included plant-based barbecue.

All entrants receive a race shirt, special Skyline socks, and a finisher medal. Awards are given to overall winners and three deep by age group. Skyline 50K is part of the P-USATF Grand Prix and is listed as a UTMB Index event.

Logistics noted by organizers include a nonmandatory bib pickup location at Sports Basement Berkeley (others may pick up bibs on behalf of runners) and on-site race-day bib pickup. Training runs associated with the event are free and self-supported. The event’s refund policy states refunds are generally not offered; deferrals are allowed outside of 30 days, with no deferrals within 30 days of race day.
