Stevens Creek Striders Reservoir Run
The Stevens Creek Striders Reservoir Run is a trail running event at Stevens Creek County Park in Cupertino, California. The event offers three distances and uses shaded single-track and open ridge trails around the reservoir. The field for the Half Marathon and 11K is capped at 150 runners and timing is hand-recorded using Ultrasignup timing software. The race follows USATF sanctioning and Trail Sisters standards and is included in a regional Mountain, Ultra, Trail Grand Prix series.
Aid stations are located every few miles and provide water, electrolyte drink, energy gels, granola bars, chips, and candies. Organizers encourage runners to carry a water bottle; disposable cups will not be provided.
Post-race offerings include a barbecue at the Villa Maria group site with meat and vegan burgers. Swag includes custom race socks and additional Striders items for sale while supplies last. Awards are given to the top three finishers in the Half Marathon and 11K across male, female, and non-binary categories; the Lollipop event provides finisher certificates.
Charitable elements include an option to donate to California Fire Relief at checkout and full proceeds from the Lollipop Loop. The event also collects used running shoes for Soles for Good. A pregnancy deferral option is available for entrants who request it by August 30th. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
