Event Details

The Stevens Creek Striders Reservoir Run takes place in Stevens Creek County Park. The event offers three distances: a Half Marathon (13.2 mi), an 11K (6.8 mi), and a Lollipop Loop (2.5 mi). The course uses trails near the Stevens Creek Reservoir, including the Tony Look and Coyote Ridge trails. The half marathon has an approximate elevation gain of 2,770 feet. The event is sanctioned by USATF and follows Trail Sisters race standards.

Course and Aid

The half marathon has four aid stations, and the 11K has two. The Lollipop Loop has a water and lollipop stop at its halfway point. Disposable cups are not provided; runners are encouraged to carry their own water bottles. The total participation is capped at 150 runners for the Half Marathon and 11K combined. The event uses hand-timing software.

Post-Race and Amenities

A BBQ with meat and vegan burgers is provided after the race at the Villa Maria group site. Participants receive a custom race shirt. Awards are given to the top three finishers in male, female, and non-binary categories for the Half Marathon and 11K. Lollipop Loop participants receive finisher certificates. The Lollipop Loop is a charity run/walk with a suggested donation.

Registration and Logistics

Registration for the Half Marathon and 11K opens in advance. On-site registration is available on race day for an additional fee. The Lollipop Loop registration is only on race day. There is a $6 vehicle day-use fee for the park. Parking is limited, and carpooling is encouraged. Bib pick-up begins on the morning of the event.
