The Stevens Creek Striders Reservoir Run offers trail race distances around Stevens Creek Reservoir at Villa Maria in Cupertino. Distances include a Half Marathon, an 11K, and a charity Lollipop Loop. The course uses single track and ridge trails such as Tony Look and Coyote Ridge and includes shaded sections and open vistas. The half marathon includes several steep ascents and substantial climbing.

Disposable cups will not be provided; runners are strongly encouraged to carry a water bottle. The event is hand timed using Ultrasignup timing software. It is sanctioned by USATF, follows Trail Sisters race standards, and is part of the USATF Mountain Ultra Trail Grand Prix. Entry for the Half Marathon and 11K is capped at 150 runners combined. Lollipop Loop participants and children register on race day.

Entry pricing lists base fees for the Half Marathon and 11K with an increase in early August and a race day registration surcharge if spots remain. The Lollipop Loop requests a recommended donation and donates proceeds to wildfire relief. The event features post race BBQ, custom race socks and other swag, top three prizes by gender categories for the Half and 11K, finisher certificates for the Lollipop Loop, a used shoe collection for donation, and a pregnancy deferral option for the following year.
