Race Thru the Redwoods

Race Thru the Redwoods is scheduled for August 16, 2026 in Felton, California, with the course starting and finishing at Roaring Camp Railroads, 5401 Graham Hill Road. The event includes two organized runs and uses routes that pass through the redwood groves of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park.

Distances:

• Kids Race: 1 mile, two laps
• 10K Run: 6.2 miles, majority of the route under redwood canopy

Registration opens May 8, 2026 and closes July 6, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $25.00 for the Kids Race and $50.00 for the 10K. A pancake breakfast sponsored by the Zayante Fire Department is included with race entry; non participants may purchase a late brunch for $10.00.

The Felton Business and Community Association, together with local volunteers, manages the event. Race Thru the Redwoods serves as the association’s principal annual fundraiser, with proceeds supporting free community events and traditions in Felton. The organizer plans to collect photos and videos from participants and share an album via the event website.
