Berkeley Trail Adventure at Tilden Regional Park
The Berkeley Trail Adventure is a trail running event in Tilden Regional Park, Berkeley, CA, offering multiple distances and on-course support. Courses pass through coast live oak and eucalyptus and alternate between shaded singletrack and open sections with views of the bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Mount Tamalpais on clear days. Aid stations are stocked roughly every 5 to 7 miles with items such as gels, chews, sandwiches, fruit, electrolytes, and basic first aid supplies. The event is cupless; participants are responsible for carrying their own water bottle or reusable cup. Reusable cups will be available for purchase at the event.
Location and logistics include Lake Anza as the race venue and free parking at Lake Anza in Tilden Park; carpooling is encouraged. Early bib pickup is available the day before at Sports Basement in Berkeley, and race morning check-in and bib pickup occur at Lake Anza. The event has a total capacity of 350 runners across all distances. The 50K course has an 8.5 hour time limit.
