Course and logistics

Headphones are allowed on dirt road sections only; they are not allowed on single-track trail, when crossing paved roads, at aid stations, or when crossing the finish line. Drop bags are allowed for the 20 mi, Marathon, and 50K at the Start/Finish. The event is cupless; runners are asked to bring their own fluid container and aid stations are not pre-filled with cups. Fully stocked aid stations are provided every 6 to 7 miles with fruit, salty snacks, candy, water, and Skratch electrolyte drink. A nine-hour time limit applies to all events.
