Womens Headlands Half Marathon
The Womens Headlands Half Marathon is a trail race organized by the San Francisco Running Company and presented by The North Face. It is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, and is the third annual women's race through the Marin Headlands.
The course is a brand new half marathon route of roughly 13.6 miles with approximately 2,156 feet of climbing. Runners follow rolling singletrack and coastal ridgelines that provide views of the Pacific Ocean, San Francisco Bay, and the Golden Gate Bridge. The route begins and ends near the San Francisco Running Company Mill Valley store at 247 Shoreline Hwy, Unit B1, Mill Valley, California.
A 5.5 hour cutoff is in place for the half marathon. Event support includes aid stations and course monitoring; volunteers are used for setup, aid stations, and course monitoring. Sponsors listed for the event include GU Energy.
