Trail Running calendar near Mendocino 2026-2027

A weekend running festival in Mendocino Woodlands Park with trail races including a half marathon, 10K and timed 6 and 12 hour events. The event combines looped single track trails, camping, meals and live music.

The 51st Fitch Mountain Footrace in Healdsburg features 10K and 3K courses through downtown, neighborhoods and along the Russian River. The event raises funds for Corazón Healdsburg and a kids running team.

Trail races at Lake Sonoma in October offering 100 mile, 50 mile, marathon and four person relays. Courses feature extensive singletrack, multiple aid stations, on-site camping and significant elevation gain.

A 50K trail race on Northern California’s Mendocino Coast, starting at Big River State Beach and passing river, ocean, redwood and waterfall scenery. Races are listed in April with recent dates including 2025 and 2027.

A community trail run and hike on May 8, 2027 at the Point Arena and Stornetta Lands, co-hosted by ACORN and Pacific Community Charter School. Proceeds support the Students Protecting the Coast environmental education program.
