Course Details

The 100 Mile course consists of two 50-mile loops. It begins with the Pritchett Peaks hill climb, followed by descents onto the South Lake Trailhead. The route carries runners around the back side of the lake to Falcons Nest before returning across the lake bridge. This distance has a total estimated elevation gain of over 25,000 feet and a 36-hour time limit.

The 50 Mile race follows a course that launches runners onto 16 miles of singletrack after a short road section intended to space out the field. The Marathon follows a classic loop around Lake Sonoma, featuring various elevation changes and water crossings.

Logistics and Environment

Free on-site camping is available for registered participants near the start and finish area on a first-come, first-served basis. Aid stations are positioned along the courses, providing support at locations such as Island View, Warm Springs, Liberty Glen, and Lone Rock.

Typical weather conditions for the region in October include highs of approximately 75 degrees F and lows near 50 degrees F. Rain and mud are possible given the season.
