Annadel Loop

Annadel Loop is an annual trail race organized by the Empire Runners Club in Annadel State Park. The course covers 6.45 miles through the park hills and begins in the state park parking lot at the end of Channel Drive; the start location differs from past years when the Cobblestone Trailhead was used.

Online registration is available through 5 PM on September 5. Entry fees differ for Empire Runners Club members and non-members: members register online at no cost before the deadline with a race day fee applying afterward, while non-members pay an online fee with a higher race day fee. Membership options are listed with a youth rate of $12 and an adult rate of $36; membership includes free race registration for multiple events and additional opportunities. The event is limited to the first 100 registered runners. There are no refunds unless the event is cancelled.

Race logistics note that parking space at the end of Channel Drive is limited, and alternate parking is possible on nearby streets such as Montgomery Drive and Violetti. Runners are given staggered head starts based on age and gender. Awards are presented to the top 13 finishers. A course map and past results are available from the organizer.
