Napa Fall Wine Country Marathon

2026 Napa Fall Wine Country Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K

The 34th annual event takes place on October 24, 2026 at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park, 3801 Saint Helena Highway, Saint Helena, CA, United States. The field is limited to 300 participants.

The course uses lush single-track trails inside the state park and includes hills, streams, and rocky sections. The route is marked with orange ribbon; participants should follow the ribbon at trail crossings. Hikers and walkers are welcome. Headphones and other audio devices are not allowed on course for safety reasons.

There is one aid station at the start/finish area. Half marathon runners encounter the aid station once between their two loops. Marathon runners pass the aid station at approximately miles 6, 10, 16, and 20. Participants are advised to carry water. Course cut off time for the marathon is six hours which corresponds to a 13:45 min per mile pace; pace standards are also listed for the shorter distances.

Bibs are mailed beginning two weeks before the event; if a bib is not received it may be picked up on race morning. T shirts are provided to all participants. Personalized award ribbons are mailed to the top three male and female finishers in each age group for all distances. Medals are awarded to all marathon and half marathon finishers.

Registrations are non refundable and non transferable. To receive a rollover credit participants must request it by September 24, 2026; after that date a doctor's note is required for credit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
