Napa Fall Wine Country Marathon - 2026

The event takes place on October 24, 2026 at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park in Saint Helena, California. This is the 34th annual running and the field is limited to 300 participants.

Runners follow single-track trails through the state park. The course includes hills, stream crossings, rocky sections, narrow trail segments and steep drop-offs. Course markings use orange ribbon at trail intersections; participants should follow the ribbon at every crossing.

There is one aid station located at the start/finish area. Half marathoners encounter it once during their two loops. Marathoners pass the aid station at approximately miles 6, 10, 16 and 20. Participants are advised to carry water.

Incentives include a shirt for all participants, medals for all marathon and half marathon finishers, and personalized award ribbons for the top three male and female finishers in each age group which are mailed a few weeks after the race. Bib numbers are mailed beginning two weeks before the event; unreceived bibs may be picked up on race morning.

Parking inside the park requires a $10 per vehicle fee; free overflow parking is available along Hwy 29. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. A rollover credit may be issued if requested by September 24, 2026, minus a $20 fee; after that date a doctor s note is required for credit.
