Zoom Angel Island takes place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Tiburon, CA, with the meeting place at Tiburon Ferry Dock, 21 Main St, Tiburon 94920. The event offers these distances:

Distances are measured with a Rolatape surveyor's measuring wheel. All finishers receive a custom medal and pre-registered runners receive a T-shirt. The event uses MyLaps Bibtags for finish timing and publishes results online. A time limit of 3:45 hours applies to all events.

Course and logistics

Races run on Angel Island trails and roads that circle the island and climb Mount Livermore. Course marking uses color flagging: orange for the summit loop, yellow for the middle loop, and pink for the perimeter loop. The 5 mi follows the orange loop; the 10 mi follows yellow then orange; the 15 mi follows pink, then yellow, then orange. Polka-dot flagging indicates required turns; blue ribbons mark wrong-way junctions.

Elevation gain and surface by distance:

• 5 mi: 810 ft; single track 96%, asphalt 4%
• 10 mi: 1,380 ft; single track 73%, dirt road 23%, asphalt 4%
• 15 mi: 1,840 ft; single track 51%, dirt road 16%, asphalt 33%

Aid stations are fully stocked about every 5 miles with fruit, salty snacks, candy, water, and Skratch electrolyte drink; runners are advised to carry at least 20 oz of water between stations. The event is cupless; participants are asked to bring their own fluid container. Ferry transport to Angel Island is a separate, round-trip cost of $19. Parking is available in Tiburon, including a free asphalt lot about 0.6 mi from the ferry. No dogs are allowed on Angel Island. Headphones are permitted only on dirt road sections.
