Marin Ultra Challenge, Inside Trail Racing's premier Marin County trail race in Sausalito, CA, offers two demanding distances: a 50-mile and a 50K. The route begins at Rodeo Beach and traverses the Marin Headlands, Mt. Tamalpais, and Muir Woods, delivering coastal and inland vistas.

The 50-mile course covers about 50.2 miles with roughly 10,550 feet of elevation gain; the 50K about 30.8 miles with about 6,000 feet. Runners encounter a mix of exposed fire roads and technical single-track through redwood canopies, with little overlap between distances.
