Trail Running calendar near Rhayader 2026-2027

A 16.1 km fell race from Capelulo with about 594 m of ascent on partially marked terrain where navigation and experience are required. Entry is online only with a £12 fee and participants must be over 18.

A 10 km multi terrain trail run around Beckbury, Shropshire, featuring the Badgers Bite Hill, marshalled and signposted with a halfway drinks station and a finisher medal.

A family friendly MoRunning event at Ashton Court Park with 1.5 km, 5 km, 10 km and half marathon options, chip timing, medals and fundraising in support of Movember.

An AS class fell race of 8 km with 762 m ascent near Little Stretton. The partly marked route climbs four steep valleys, requires navigational skills and full WFRA kit, and has very limited parking.

The Broadway Marathon & Half will take place in Broadway on Sunday 15 November 2026. You can run between 13 and 26 miles.

The final race of the 2026 RTT Series takes place in Afan Forest with separate 5 km and 10 km routes from Bryn Bettws Lodge. The event features chip timing, finisher medals, marked and marshalled routes and water stations.

A time trial from Little Stretton to the Stiperstones with on the day entry and a finish to start bus. Navigational skills are required and entry fees are £8 per person with a reduced junior rate.

Ras Y Mast is a club-organised running event at Blaenwern Holiday Centre in Llanybydder, Ceredigion. The senior course is 6.5 miles on mixed surfaces, with separate junior races and historical results available back to 1998.

Dash in the Dark Race 2 is a 6.4 km fell run with 229 m ascent at Llandegla Forest. A safety briefing is provided and a headtorch with at least two hours' lighting is compulsory.

Trail races at Alyn Waters on 5 December 2026 include 5 km, 10 km and a canicross 5 km plus a free children's 1 km dash. Courses are fully marked and marshalled, chip timed and finishers receive a medal.

A 14.5 km fell race near Church Stretton with about 793 m of ascent, marked and marshalled except for a section on The Lawley. Entry is online with 180 places and full FRA kit is mandatory.

Part of a 12 Days of Christmas series at Pengethley Manor, this offroad event offers distances from 5k to Ultra with a seven hour completion limit and on course laps through vineyards and a hill. Virtual entries and paid medals are availabl..

A festive trail event at Chasewater Country Park featuring 10k, 5k and a junior run, raising funds for Shelter, with bespoke medals, photos, prizes and onsite parking.

A festive 5 km off road Santa Dash at Tinkley Gate raising funds for Allsorts. Costumes, dogs on short leads and a 2.5 km one lap option for younger participants make this a family friendly event.
