Weston Park Pretty Muddy 5k

Weston Park Pretty Muddy is a 5k obstacle event taking place at Weston Park, Weston-Under-Lizard, near Shifnal, Telford (TF11 8LE) on Saturday 09 May 2026. The course starts and finishes on grass and follows a mixture of paths, tracks and grass, with some hills that provide views over Shropshire and Staffordshire. The event features a series of muddy obstacles where participants climb, crawl and slide around the route.

Waves start every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course; groups are asked to register for the same wave. Participants must be 13 years of age or older. Pretty Muddy Kids events are offered separately for children aged 12 and under. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies. Entry fees listed for this event are adults £22.49 and children £12.00. Event parking is free and located next to the start and finish, accessed off the A5 via Shrewsbury Drive; drop-offs follow the same route. The main car park and event site are on grass and may be unsuitable for blue badge users in poor weather. The site is not easily accessible on foot, has no direct bus routes, and the nearest train station is Shifnal, roughly a 12 minute drive from the venue. There are no cycle racks or electric charging points.

Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs, and dogs are not allowed. Sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers and BSL stage content are available to support accessibility.
