Endurancelife Exmoor Coastal Trail Run
The Exmoor Coastal Trail Run takes place in Martinhoe within the western area of Exmoor National Park on 8 May 2027. The event is part of the Endurancelife 2026–27 trail running season and contributes points to the Season Leader Board based on performance.
The courses run across varied terrain including open moorland, thickly wooded combes, steep climbs and long descents, coastal cliffs, rivers and historical ruins. Surface types listed include grass, rock and forest and the organiser classifies the terrain as extreme.
Distances and recorded ascent per course:
- 10K 6.3 mi, 1,480 ft ascent
- Half Marathon 13.3 mi, 2,822 ft ascent
- Marathon 26.5 mi, 6,070 ft ascent
- Ultra 31.8 mi, 6,785 ft ascent
Course records are listed for men and women for each distance, with sample best times such as 00:44:24 (men 10K) and 00:52:42 (women 10K). Entry prices are shown for multiple categories in GBP.
