North Coast 110 and Exmoor Coast Ultra - November 2026
This event weekend offers several coastal ultramarathon and challenge routes along the South West Coast Path, finishing at the South West Coast Path marker in Minehead. The programme includes long and shorter options that run along the North Coast and across Exmoor National Park. Transport is available to the various start locations before each race.

Course highlights and requirements: The 110 mile route departs from Hartland Quay and includes nearly 6,000 m of ascent; entry requires a previous 50+ km race or event. The Hartland routes begin from Hartland Quay, pass Hartland Point and Clovelly, then follow the Torridge and Taw estuaries toward Barnstaple, including a largely flat final section on tarmac and a climb over Taw Bridge into Barnstaple. The 110 km route starts in Barnstaple, follows the Taw estuary and then coastal sections past Braunton Burrows, Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay, Woolacombe and Ilfracombe, reaching Combe Martin before joining the Exmoor section. The Exmoor Coast Ultra traverses Exmoor National Park from Combe Martin to Minehead and passes notable features such as Culbone Hill (433 m) and Great Hangman (244 m). The 38 km Exmoor Coast Challenge runs from Lynton to Minehead and is open to runners and walkers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
