The Barney to Beach event is an 8-mile run or walk held in North Devon, starting at Barnstaple Pannier Market and finishing at Crow Point beach. The course features mostly flat terrain along the scenic Tarka Trail, offering participants stunning views of the North Devon coastline. A children’s fun run of 1 mile is also available for ages 4 to 16, taking place on the dunes and beach near the finish.

The event fosters a friendly community atmosphere, welcoming runners, walkers, and families. All finishers receive a medal, and refreshments are available near the finish line.
