Barney to Beach

Barney to Beach is an 8-mile community running and walking event in North Devon, from Barnstaple Pannier Market to Crow Point. The route largely follows flat sections along the Tarka Trail, offering expansive coastal views and a finish through dunes onto the beach. A 1-mile children’s race is available for ages 5–15, with a family ticket option for two adults and up to four children.

Proceeds support local charities Families in Grief and The Wave Project. The event welcomes walkers, offers transport options, finishes with teas and medals, and has a cut-off time for completion.
