Llangollen 10K 2026
The Llangollen 10K is an off-road trail running event held in the Welsh town of Llangollen. The race follows a route along the well-known Llangollen Canal, providing participants with scenic views of the surrounding landscape and local canal culture. The course is described as undulating with a surface that allows for quick movement.
Participants in the main event must be at least 15 years old. In addition to the primary distance, there is a dedicated race for younger runners. The available distances include:
- 10 km (Age 15 and over)
- 1 mile (Age 5 - 10)
The event starts and finishes near the Llangollen Leisure Centre on Dinbren Road. The registration fee for the 10 km includes a bespoke finisher medal. Members of UK Athletics are eligible for a discount on their entry fee.
The route is designed to be accessible for various ability levels. Spectators are welcome to attend and experience the atmosphere of the town and the local community.
