Swansea Pretty Muddy 5k : Singleton Park, 16 May 2026

Race for Life's Pretty Muddy 5k is an obstacle course event taking place at Singleton Park in Swansea on Saturday 16 May 2026. The course asks participants to climb, crawl and slide around muddy obstacles and is organised to raise funds for cancer research.

The start and finish are on grass and the route runs on a mixture of grass and hardstanding paths inside the park, following a clockwise loop around the park perimeter that returns to the lower part of the site. Waves are used to stagger starts and marshals are positioned on course to assist; participants may skip an obstacle if needed.

Entry details include adult and child prices and a minimum fundraising target. The event lists these fees: adults £22.49, children £12.00, and a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. To take part a person must be 13 years of age or older; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for younger children.

On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets and event parking. The event notes that it is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed and there is no bag drop or showers. Accessibility measures include sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers who are Dementia Friends and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content.

Travel information highlights event parking at the Recreation Ground Car Park, Mumbles Road, approximately a 700 m walk to the site; charges apply and parking space is limited. Pedestrian access is available via Mumbles Road, Brynmill Lane, Gower Road and Sketty Lane; bike locks are located around the park. A spring sale offers 50% off entry with code SPRING26 until 19 April 2026, terms apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
