Multi-distance triathlons in Llanberis with a lake swim in Llyn Padarn, repeated 28 mile bike laps including Pen y Pass, and lake laps followed by a mountain ascent of Yr Wyddfa via the Llanberis Path.

Ras Pedol Peris in Llanberis on 19 September 2026 offers full and half fell race routes visiting several Eryri summits. Distances are 28 km with 2600 m ascent and 14 km with 1350 m ascent.

Fan Brycheiniog is a 15.5 km mountain race in Glyntawe with 840 m of climb. The course runs over rough tracks and open fell and requires navigation and competent mountain skills.

Three coastal trail races on 26 September 2026 around the Gower Peninsula offer routes of 50, 34 and 23 miles along cliffs, bays and coastal paths. The event is self navigated with checkpoints, GPS tracking and coach transfers to starts.

MacTuffX Swansea on 26 September 2026 features solo, doubles and team relay formats over ten 400 m or ten 800 m legs, with entry restricted to participants aged 18 and over and fees varying by category.

A mid distance fell race at Canolfan Ceiriog Centre in Glyn Ceiriog on 26 September 2026 covering 11.6 km with 425 m of ascent. Entry is £6 on the day and the centre provides refreshments and changing facilities.

RTT Margam Trail at Margam Country Park offers 5 km and 10 km trail routes on woodland paths with views of Margam Castle. The event includes chip timing, water stations, marshalled routes and parking included with entry.

The Forest of Dean Autumn Half Marathon is a measured 13 miles 192.5 yards race on forest trails with no road crossings. Organised by the Rotary Club of the Royal Forest of Dean, the event raises funds for local and national charities.

A coastal 10 km race from Portishead Open Air Pool with mixed terrain and sea views past Black Nore Lighthouse. The undulating route features a midway water station, chip timing and a finisher medal, with entries limited to 350.

Breidden Hills is an 11.5 km fell race around Criggion, Shropshire with 790 m of ascent. The course is partially marked so navigational skills and kit checks are required, entrants must be over 18 and entry is £8.

A 7 hour Time Challenge at Dare Valley Country Park where runners choose their distance. Finishers from 3km receive a themed medal, doughnuts and a goody bag, with aid tables and vegan options on course.

A short fell race from the Storey Arms lay-by on the A470, covering about 3.2 km with 305 m of ascent; the course requires experience and navigational skills. Entry is £2 on the day and junior races are to be confirmed.

Trail half marathon in the Quantock Hills at Kilve Court, Somerset on 04/10/2026. The route includes technical trails, climbs, moorland and stream crossings; two feed stations, marshals and UTMB index status are provided.

A 23 mile trail race across the Quantock Hills at Greatwood, Over Stowey in 2026. The event also offers the Pegasus Challenge four person relay; participants must be 16 or older and entry fees are GBP 44.04 to 49.46.
