The Proud Run is a race held on 13 January 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Participants choose one target distance and must complete it within a 7-hour time limit. Distances on offer include:

The course is offroad and runs entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. Each lap measures 2.5 km. The route includes a hill on each lap and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners.

Logistics and entry

Entry fees and options listed on the organiser page include: Race Entry £29.00; Virtual UK Entry £25.00; Virtual International Entry £39.00. All fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full to confirm an entry. There is a charity entry option for a £10.00 fee that requires raising a minimum of twice the entry fee value and meeting fundraising conditions at least four weeks before the event. A deferral option is available up to four weeks before the event for a £15.00 fee.

Facilities on the day include free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilets. Virtual entries receive a personalised virtual bib and the same type of medal as race entrants once the virtual run is verified; additional postage costs apply for international delivery. Join the 12 Drummers Drumming Run on 18 December 2025 at Pengethley Manor, Ross on Wye for off road laps through vineyards with a cheeky hill each circuit. Pick a distance from 5k to ultra and enjoy a friendly walkers and runners vibe.

Celebrate early with The Early Christmas Present, a timed loop along the peaceful Stroud Waterways canal where you can run from 5k up to ultra on flat towpath. Limited places, bespoke finisher memento and virtual entry available.
