Event Details

The Proud Run is part of the 7 Deadly Sins series of races. The event takes place on Tuesday, 12th January 2027 at Pengethley Manor in Ross-on-Wye.

Participants choose their target distance from the following options:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

All distances share the same seven-hour time limit and the same off-road course. The route consists of 2.5 km laps within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The course includes a hill and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards.

Registration on race day is between 9:00 and 9:30. The race registration closes at 9:45.

Participation Options

The event is open to walkers and runners of any age, though participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants can also choose to run virtually. The virtual option allows runners to complete their chosen distance (minimum 5 km) anytime during the month of January.

The event offers free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches, soup, and toilets.

Medals and Fees

All paid entrants receive a themed medal. Entry fees are non-refundable. A race entry costs £29.00. A virtual entry costs £25.00 for UK participants and £39.00 for international participants, with additional postage costs for international medal delivery. There is also a charity entry option for a £10.00 fee plus booking charges, which requires participants to raise a minimum amount for the nominated charity, The PAM Foundation.
