The Proud Run

The Proud Run is one day in the 7 Deadly Sins race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants select their target distance and must complete it within a seven hour time limit. Each lap measures 2.5 km.

The course is offroad and contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The route includes a hill that is repeated each lap and a series of undulating sections through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners. All entrants must be aged 18 and over.

Entries are available as on-site race entries or as a virtual option. Paid entries receive the same style of medal whether completed in person or virtually; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib and a medal after verification and any applicable postage charges. There is also a free entry route via the organiser's Strava club; free entries are recorded on results lists but do not receive a medal.

Practical information provided on race day includes free parking, refreshments such as tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilet facilities. Entry fees are non refundable; a deferral option is available for an additional fee up to four weeks before the event. A point to point 57 mile ultra along the Severn Way from Worcester to Stonehouse, passing Upton-on-Severn, Tewkesbury and Gloucester. Four checkpoints offer vegan and gluten free options, finishers receive a bespoke medal and a head visor.

Experience a self navigation trail challenge through the Brecon Beacons National Park with distances ranging from 13 to 50 miles. Enjoy full support and mountain landmarks on a course featuring over 11000 feet of elevation.

Circular routes from 10 to 40 miles start in Hallow and run through 12 local parishes, mainly off road on public footpaths. Checkpoints provide drinks and snacks and entry fees include refreshments, a hot meal and a completion certificate.

A fund raising multi lap running event on 12 July 2026 at Old Elizabethans Cricket Club, Worcester, supporting stroke services. Multiple race formats including a solo marathon, relays and a kids Wild Mile.
