Event Information

The Angry Run is one of the seven races in the organizer's "7 Deadly Sins" series. Participants can choose their target distance from five options:

  • 5 km (2 laps)
  • 10 km
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

All distances share a 7-hour time limit to complete the chosen run. The event is open to both walkers and runners.

Course Details

The event takes place at Pengethley Manor in Ross-on-Wye. The course is off-road and contained within the manor grounds. Each lap measures 2.5 km in distance and includes a hill, along with a series of ups and downs through two vineyards.

Logistics and Registration

Participants are asked to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 for on-the-day registration to collect their race bib. The event offers free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches, soup, and toilets on-site. There is an option for a Personal Cancellation Insurance Policy at the time of booking. For those who cannot attend on the day, a virtual option is available where participants can run their chosen distance (minimum 5 km) at any time during the month of January.

Fees and Perks

Standard race entry costs £29.00. Virtual entry costs £25.00 for UK participants or £39.00 for overseas participants, with additional international postage fees potentially applicable. A charity entry option is available for a £10.00 fee plus a commitment to raise a minimum amount for charity. Only paid entries receive a finisher's medal; a free entry option via a Strava club exists, but it does not include a medal. Each day of the "7 Deadly Sins" series features a unique themed medal.
