Event overview

The Angry Run is scheduled for 15 January 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.shelf.growth). Participants choose one of these target distances:

  • 5k (two laps)

  • Ultra

Each lap measures 2.5 km. Runners and walkers have a maximum of seven hours to complete their chosen distance. The course is offroad, set entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, and includes a hill on each lap plus a series of up and down sections through two vineyards.

Entry, fees and logistics

Entry fees are non-refundable. Standard fees listed are: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. A charity option is available for a £10.00 entry fee if the entrant commits to raising at least twice that amount and the funds are raised at least four weeks before the event. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Deferral to the next edition is possible for an additional £15 if arranged up to four weeks before the event.

Race bibs are collected at registration on the day; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email. Race medals are awarded to finishers on the day; virtual medals are posted after run verification (photo of a device, Strava or social upload).
