Course, entries and facilities

The course is offroad within the grounds of Pengethley Manor and the organiser describes it as very tough, with a hill on each lap and a series of up-and-down sections through two vineyards. The organiser states that the majority of URL event routes are not signed, so staying on course is the participant’s responsibility; marshals are placed in appropriate locations.

Entry fees are non-refundable. Published fees include Race Entry at £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, and Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. A virtual option allows runs any day during January with a minimum distance of 5k; virtual entries receive a personalised virtual bib and a medal after run verification (photo of device, Strava or social upload). On-site facilities listed include free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
