The Gluttonous Run

The Gluttonous Run is part of a series called the 7 Deadly Sins. The event takes place at Pengethley Manor in Ross-on-Wye. It is an off-road course within the manor grounds.

Participants choose their target distance. The options are 5k, 10k, half marathon, marathon, or ultra. The course consists of laps, with each lap measuring 2.5 km. The course includes a hill and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. A time limit of seven hours is given to complete the chosen distance. The event is open to walkers and runners.

A virtual option is also available. Participants who choose this can complete their run anytime during the month of January. They must run a minimum distance of 5 km. A personalised virtual bib is provided.

On the day of the in-person event, free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches, soup, and toilets are available. Registration opens at 9:00 and closes at 9:45.

The event features unique medals themed around the seven deadly sins. Medals are awarded at the finish line for in-person participants and are posted to virtual participants after their run is verified.

Other races in the same series are held on consecutive days around the same date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
