The Lusty Run – event overview

The Lusty Run is one day of the 7 Deadly Sins race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye. The event offers a choice of several distances on an offroad course contained within the manor grounds. Each lap measures 2.5 km, so the 5k option is two laps. Entrants have a seven hour limit to complete their chosen distance.

Distances available:

  • 5k (2 laps)
  • 10k
  • Half Marathon
  • Full Marathon
  • Ultra

The course includes a hill on each lap and a series of climbs and descents that pass through two vineyards. The route is described as very tough and is entirely offroad. The event is open to walkers and runners; under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Race bibs are collected at event registration. Virtual entries receive a personalised virtual bib by email and can be recorded on the results list once their run is verified.

On the day there is free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilets. Entry fees and options listed by the organiser include a paid race entry, virtual UK and virtual overseas fees, and a charity entry option that requires a fundraising commitment. Medals are available to paid entrants and the race and virtual medals are the same type. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
