The Slothful Run

The Slothful Run is part of the 7 Deadly Sins series. For 2027 participants have a seven hour time limit in which to complete their chosen distance.

Available distances:

• 5k (two laps of 2.5 km)
• 10k
• Half Marathon
• Marathon
• Ultra

The route is offroad and contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye. The course is described as very tough, with a hill on each lap and a series of up and downs through two vineyards. Each lap measures 2.5 km.

The event accepts walkers and runners. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. On race day there is free parking, hot drinks, light food, and toilets.

Entry options include paid race entries and paid virtual entries. There is also a free virtual option that records results via the event Strava group but does not include a medal. Paid race and paid virtual entries receive the same type of medal. Entry fees listed by the organiser include a race entry fee of £29.00, a virtual UK entry fee of £25.00 and a virtual international entry fee of £39.00.
