The Slothful Run

The Slothful Run is part of the 7 Deadly Sins race series and is scheduled for 12 January 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Participants choose a target distance and must complete it within a seven-hour limit. The course is offroad, contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, and includes a hill plus a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. Each lap measures 2.5 km. The event is described as suitable for walkers and runners.

Entry options include in-person race entries and virtual entries completed any day during January; virtual runs require a minimum of 5k. Race entry fees listed are: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual International Entry £39.00. Paid entries receive a medal; virtual and race medals are the same type. A free entry option via a Strava club is offered but that option does not include a medal. Entries are non-refundable; deferral to the next edition is possible for a fee of £15 up to four weeks before the event. On race day there is registration to collect race bibs. Trail runs nearby

Run a scenic, traffic free 6.5 mile (about 10K) lap of Croome Park with a big hill to start and finish. Trail shoes are recommended and all finishers receive medals and goody bags.

Join the inaugural Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash for a festive family friendly 5 km trail run at Woodchester, with costumes and a post race cafe. Dress as Santa or an elf to support local charity Allsorts; dogs on short leashes welcome.
