Event overview
The Slothful Run takes place on 12th January 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Participants choose a target distance and must complete it within a seven-hour time limit. Distances on offer include:

- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
The event is suitable for walkers and runners. A virtual option is available during January; virtual entries may be recorded via the organiser’s Strava club without a medal, while paid virtual entries are processed through the event entry system.
Course, facilities and entry
The course is offroad and runs entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. Each lap is 2.5 km. The route includes a hill, plus a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. On race day there is free parking, free tea and coffee, food (sandwiches and soup) and toilets.
Entry fees are stated as: Race entry £29.00, Virtual UK entry £25.00, and Virtual International entry £39.00. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. Paid finishers receive the event medal; free Strava entries are recorded on results lists but do not receive a medal. There is an option to defer an entry for a fee where permitted.
