The Greedy Run

The Greedy Run is one day in the 7 Deadly Sins race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye. The event offers multiple distance options and a time limit of seven hours to complete the chosen distance.

The route is off road and contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. Each lap is 2.5 km and the course includes a hill repeated on each lap and a series of undulations through two vineyards. The organiser describes the course as very tough. The event is open to walkers and runners; participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

On the day there is free parking, complimentary tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilets. Virtual entries are available and may be completed on any day in January. Virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib and, once a run is verified, a medal is posted. Proof options include a photo of a GPS device, joining the organiser Strava group, or uploading to the organiser Facebook page. Entry fees are non refundable. Reduced charity places are available with a sponsorship condition and other entry fee options apply for virtual UK and overseas entries. Trail runs nearby

A 10 hour loop race on Mynydd Troed with steep climbs, technical descents and marked clip stations. Open to solo runners, pairs and teams of four, with mandatory kit and a strict 10 hour cutoff.

A Welsh trail event offering a 100-mile loop from Abergavenny and a 100 km route from Talgarth to Abergavenny, both following Offa’s Dyke, Cambrian Way and Beacons Way across mountain terrain.

A 10 km trail run at Symonds Yat in the Forest of Dean with undulating terrain and views of the River Wye. The final 1 km includes a large climb to the finish. Coffee and hot food are available at the start and finish.

A multi-distance trail event in the Cotswolds on 10th May 2026, featuring quarter, half, marathon and Ultra 40 routes across trails, towpaths and commons with marked routes, checkpoints and on-course water.
