Event Overview
The Greedy Run is part of the 7 Deadly Sins series of races. The event takes place at Pengethley Manor in Ross-on-Wye.
Course Details
The course is an off-road route within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. It features a hill and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. Each lap is 2.5 km. Participants have a 7-hour time limit to complete their chosen distance.
Distances
Participants choose their target distance from the following options:
- 5 km (2 laps)
- 10 km
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
The event is open to walkers and runners of any age, although under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Virtual Option
A virtual event option is available for the month of January. Virtual participants choose their own distance, with a minimum of 5 km. A personalised virtual bib is provided, and a medal is posted after run verification.
Event Day Information
On the day, registration opens at 9:00. Race registration closes at 9:45. Free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches, soup, and toilets are available on site.
Fees and Medals
Paid race entry includes a medal awarded at the finish line. There is an option to join a Strava club and run for free, but free entries do not receive a medal. Each day in the series has a unique themed medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
