The Seven Sins Run and Immortal Sinner - Wenchford Picnic Site

The event offers two trail formats at Wenchford Picnic Site, Blakeney Straits (between Blakeney on the A48 and Parkend, GL15 4AW) across early January 2027. Canicross waves are available on the Saturday of the event weekend. A race brief and additional details are emailed to participants a week before the event.

Distances:

  • 7 miles with 7 named hills
  • 14 miles with 14 named hills

The course runs on forest trails where the terrain may be muddy and wet, with possible ice and snow. The seven hills are presented as distinct stages with individual character: Pride (a fast-feeling opener), Greed (temptation to push harder), Sloth (motivation dip), Lust (temptation toward the finish), Gluttony (a long zig-zagging climb), Wrath (a hill that provokes strong reactions), and Envy (the final uphill test). The 14-mile option repeats the circuit for a second lap; there is a 2 hour cutoff at the 7-mile point, after which a second lap is not permitted.

Parking is charged at £2 per car and space is limited. The description focuses on the course profile, terrain conditions, and the hill-by-hill structure that defines the Seven Sins and the extended Immortal Sinner challenge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
