The 7 Deadly Sins 7in7

The event is a seven day running challenge held over seven consecutive days at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words physical.growth.shelf). On each day participants choose from a set distance and have a seven hour time limit to complete their chosen run. Each lap measures 2.5 km so a 5k is two laps.

Distances offered:

  • 5k (two laps)
  • 10k
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

The course is offroad and runs entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The route includes a repeated hill section and a series of ups and downs that pass through two vineyards. Each race day has a unique name and a unique medal; completing all seven days earns seven different medals. Medals measure 80 mm in width. Race medals are handed out at the finish; virtual medals are posted after run verification.

A virtual option is available for participants who cannot attend the race days. Virtual runs can be completed during January with a minimum distance of 5k. Proof methods accepted include a photo of a GPS device, joining the event Strava group, or uploading evidence to the event Facebook page. Virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email, usually within a day or two.

On event days there is free parking, refreshments such as tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilet facilities. Entry fees are non refundable. The event is open to walkers and runners and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
