Event Format

The event is a seven-day challenge held from 11 to 17 January 2027. Participants can choose to run on all seven consecutive days or on individual days. A virtual option is also available to complete a run at any time during the month of January. For the in-person event, there is a daily start time.

Location

The in-person event is held at Pengethley Manor in Ross-on-Wye.

Course Details

The course is off-road and takes place within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. It is described as very tough and includes a hill on each lap, as well as a series of up and downs through two vineyards. Each lap is 2.5 km in distance. Participants have 7 hours each day to complete their chosen distance.

Distances

Each day, participants can choose from one of the following distances:

  • 5 km (2 laps)
  • 10 km
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

For the virtual option, participants must run a minimum of 5 km.

What's Included

Each day of the in-person challenge has a uniquely named theme and its own unique medal. Completing all seven days results in seven different medals. Virtual participants receive a personalised virtual bib via email after entering, and medals are posted after run verification.

On the day of the in-person event, facilities include free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilets.
