Join the Dark Side Of The Combe on Mon 31 Aug 2026 in the Lake District as part of the Black Combe Country Fair at Bootle. This 12.5 km fell race with 625 m ascent is a tough, scenic test and has on the day entry.

The 55th Cilcain Mountain Race is a 7.4 km mountain event with 380 m ascent on the Clwydian Range. It includes Welsh Athletics senior short inter regional and North Wales regional championships and features junior races behind the showgroun..

A 10th anniversary village trail race in Upper Denby featuring a 5.6 mile undulating course through fields, woodland and the Quaker Village at High Flatts, with homemade flapjack for finishers and prizes across age categories.

September 2026

A scenic 10 km fell race around Sir William Hill and Abney Moor starting and finishing in the historic village of Eyam, with a 3 km junior run, prizes from the Barrel Inn and a barbecue and bar in the courtyard afterwards.

A short but steep fell race held during Kilnsey Show on 1 September 2026, featuring a rope-assisted rock chimney descent for seniors, junior crag races with scree descents, limited pre-entry for seniors and specific footwear requirements.

A short evening fell race of about 8 km and 360 m ascent featuring a tough opening climb, a rollercoaster route over local summits and a field finish. Mandatory FRA kit, an enforced cut off on Brown Wardle and a minimum age of 18 apply.

A trail 5k around Clowbridge Reservoir on a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway. The event is the first of a three race autumn series on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026 and is open to runners aged 11 and over.
