Trail Running calendar near Palnure 2026-2027

Tackle the classic Langdale Horseshoe fell race on Sat 10 Oct 2026 in Great Langdale, Lake District. Covering 21 km with about 1450 m of ascent, this tough but scenic race rewards strong hill skills and pre entry is required.

Tackle Kirkby Moor's classic BM fell race on Sat 28 Nov 2026, a 10.5 km route with 490 m of climb across stunning Lake District terrain. Entry on the day from Kirkby Community Centre, with team entries and season trophies at stake.

Challenge yourself at the Crag Fell Handicap, a club run fell race in the Lake District featuring a short but steep 4 km course with 410 m of climb. Entry is by pre entry only and the handicap format makes for a lively, competitive start.

The Snaefell and the Tholtans will take place in Snaefell on Saturday 5 December 2026. You can run 13 kilometers.

Tackle a classic winter hill challenge in Southern Galloway with 17.5 km and 800 m of ascent, summiting Cairnsmore of Fleet before a warming finish. Organised by Galloway Mountain Rescue, all profits support their work.
