Event Details

The event is a guided, multi-day ultra running journey along the Cumbria Way in the Lake District. The total route is 71 miles (112 km) with an elevation gain of 2,950m (9,700ft). It takes place over three days in June.

The Route

The journey runs from Ulverston to Carlisle, staying in different locations each night. The first day covers 27 miles (48 km) from Ulverston to the Langdale Valley, passing Coniston Water and Tarn Hows. The second day is 20 miles (32 km) from Great Langdale to Keswick, crossing Stake Pass and passing Derwent Water. The final day is 26 miles (42 km) from Keswick to Carlisle, passing through Skiddaw Forest and over High Pike.

What's Included

The price covers guided running, three nights of shared accommodation, luggage transfers between stages, and entry to one guided ultra run for preparation. The group is small, with limited spaces. Participants must meet certain fitness criteria and be able to run on trail terrain at a specified pace.

Logistics
