RunThrough Lake District Running Festival 2027
The RunThrough Lake District Running Festival takes place on 10 April 2027 in Keswick, Cumbria. The event offers two marked trail race routes that circulate around Derwent Water and nearby fells, with start and finish in the Keswick area.
The longer route covers mountain terrain and passes Derwent Water and Seathwaite, ascends Scafell Pike, drops into Wasdale, skirts Kirk Fell, continues to Honister Pass, summits High Spy, and descends Catbells back to Keswick. The shorter route also passes Derwent Water and runs through Manesty before climbing High Spy and descending via Catbells to the finish.
Distances:

- 23k
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. Minimum ages are 20 years for the 53k and 17 years for the 23k. Course marking uses trail flags, tags, A5 arrows, and signage, and marshals are positioned at major junctions. Organisers provide the GPX file so entrants can self-navigate if required.
Timing and services include chip-timed results, live tracking for ultra runners, free official race photos, a unique themed medal, and post race refreshments. An event village offers additional food and drink options. Members of UKA-affiliated clubs are eligible for a small entry discount. An event t-shirt is available at a discounted price when purchased with entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
