August 2026

A 37 mile reverse route of Isaac's Tea Trail through the North Pennines AONB with about 4800 ft of ascent. Solo ultra and three person relay options include a GPX map, marshals, checkpoints and event tracking.

A women only ultramarathon along the River Tay Way in Perthshire, covering roughly 70 to 75 km from Loch Tay to Perth. The event welcomes trans men and non binary runners and offers team entries, full waymarking and generous cut offs.

A country show hill race in Powburn on 1 August 2026. The 6 mile route crosses farm fields, climbs East Hill along its spine and returns via Ingram, with a 2 mile junior race for under 14s.

A one-lap *5.5 mile* trail run around Templeton Woods on 2 August 2026, open to runners aged 18 and over. Numbers collected on the day, basic changing facilities, first aid cover, refreshments and prize categories including team awards.

K12 Ultra Marathon at Dean Castle Country Park uses an approximate 4 km loop where runners complete as many laps as possible in a 12 hour period. Individual and relay options are available, with relay teams of up to four members.

Community races at Silver Sands Park in Aberdour include a 7 mile and a 2 mile race plus a short fun run for families. Chip timing, medals and a village market with food and stalls accompany the event.

A coastal trail event on Lindisfarne with a multi terrain marathon and a point to point half marathon, limited entries and on course aid and first aid. Optional coach transport and commemorative t shirt available.

Trail running from Airthrey Castle in Stirling with five route options from 5 km to 50 km, forest and fell terrain, marked and timed courses, outposts and a cup free policy for refills.

Forestburn is a short fell race near Rothbury on 9 August 2026. The course is about 5.6 km with 150 m of climb and is held at the Gate Pub as part of the Simonside Country Fair.

A 6.5 km circular hill race in Oldhamstocks with roughly 200 m of ascent, mostly on rough track with short tarmac sections. Race numbers are issued at the village hall and on the day entry is available for a cash fee.

A challenging fell race in Northumberland's beautiful countryside. The 5.8km route features 300m of climb and is part of the regional championship. Entry is available on the day.

A 33 km fell race across the Ochil Hills with 1770 m of ascent, starting at Glen Sherrup and finishing at Stirling University. Summit controls mark the route and runners must carry compulsory map, compass, whistle and waterproofs.

A 10th anniversary trail ultra around the Loch Eck Loop on 22 Aug 2026. The solo race is 52.22 km with 983 m ascent and a three leg relay is available; the course is signposted with two checkpoints and finisher goodies.
