Oldhamstocks Flower Show Hill Race

The event takes place in Oldhamstocks, a small village in the Lammermuir hills near Dunbar (postcode TD13 5XN) on 15 August 2026. The route is a circular course starting and finishing by the church in Oldhamstocks and returns close to the village hall.

The course is 6.5 km long with around 200 m of climb. The majority of the route is on rough track. There is about 1.5 km on quiet tarmac at the start and the final 200 m are also on tarmac. One section of the route is steep. Route maps will be posted at registration and the route will be marked with small flags and tape. Key gates are marshalled. In line with Scottish Hill Runner policy, no walking poles or sticks may be used.

Registration takes place at Oldhamstocks Village Hall near the start. Race numbers are issued at registration, are not exchangeable, and must be worn. On the day entry is available for a cash fee. The event is open to runners aged 15 years or over on the day; under 18s require parental consent.

Prizes are awarded on the day across winner, veteran and junior categories and full results will be published on the Oldhamstocks Village website. Facilities include roadside parking into the village and toilets in the village hall. There are no shower facilities and no water stations on the course. A 4.7 mile handicapped race from Oxton to Lauder on 23 June 2026 with off road and road sections. Entry includes bus transport and a full buffet and entries close 19 June 2026.
