Oldhamstocks Flower Show Hill Race

The Oldhamstocks Flower Show Hill Race is organised by Dunbar Running Club and takes place in the village of Oldhamstocks in the Lammermuir hills, close to Dunbar (postcode TD13 5XN). The route is a circular course starting and finishing near the church by the village hall.

The course distance is 6.5 km with around 200 m of climb. The majority of the route follows a rough track. There is about 1.5 km on quiet tarmac at the start, and the final 200 m are also on tarmac. One section of the route is steep. Route maps will be available at registration and the course will be marked with small flags or tape. Key gates will be marshalled. In line with local hill running policy, walking poles or sticks are not permitted. There will not be any water stations on the course.

Registration takes place at Oldhamstocks Village Hall. Race numbers are issued from 11:00 on the day and must be collected before the race; numbers are not exchangeable and no-one may run without one. Race entry will be available on the day at a cost of £8.00 cash.

Prizes are awarded on the day across male, female, veteran and junior categories. Car parking is available along the sides of the road entering the village and toilet facilities are in the village hall. The Oldhamstocks Flower Show opens at 13:30 and includes exhibits, afternoon tea, a dog show and children's sports. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

A 10 km race on 12 July 2026 held within the grounds of Floors Castle in Kelso. The course mixes road and trail with uneven sections, offers water at 5 km and finish, and awards a medal and goodie bag to all finishers.
