North Berwick Law Race - 29 Jul 2026

The North Berwick Law Race is a 5.3 km hill race that starts and finishes at North Berwick Harbour. The route climbs 187 metres to the summit of the volcanic Law and then returns to the harbour. The event takes place on 29 July 2026.

Entry includes adult and under 18 categories, with a minimum age of 14 for under 18 entries. Entry prices are shown as £10 for adults and £5 for under 18s. Registration takes place at the Yacht Club at the harbour. The entry closing date is 26 May 2026 and the event status is listed as closed.

Prizes are awarded across multiple categories including first to third male and female, age-group winners from 40 in ten-year increments, local winners for the EH39 postcode, and under 18 winners; one prize is permitted per runner. Runners aged 18 and over are eligible for a free alcohol-free beer at the finish and all runners can claim a free ice-cream on presentation of their race number. After-race refreshments are available at the Yacht Club bar. All profits from the event are designated for the North Berwick Voluntary Surf Life Saving Club.
