Splash & Dash Beach Race : West Sands, St Andrews

The Splash & Dash Beach Race is a two lap race held on West Sands Beach at St Andrews. The course is approximately 4 miles and is run mainly on firm compact sand. The route starts and finishes at the Life Guards Beach Hut. At the end of each lap there is a planned water dip on the course, so competitors should expect to get more than their feet wet and bring a change of clothing.

Race headquarters facilities include number pick up, toilets and car parking at the Beach Ranger's Office, West Sands Road, St Andrews. There are no changing facilities at the venue. The postcode for the Beach Ranger's Office is KY16 9XL.

All finishers receive a race medal or memento. Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall for males and females, plus first male and female in Over 40, Over 50, Over 60 and Over 70 categories. The organiser does not provide water; participants must bring their own drinks. There is no official baggage storage and any items left at the start or finish are left at the runner's own risk.

The entry fee is listed as £11.00. Entry fee refunds or deferrals are not available; number transfers are permitted up to seven days before the race. Race results will be posted online after the event and updates will appear on the Nuts Trail Races Facebook page. The event is permitted by the Association of Running Clubs and held under ARC Rules. MacTuffX Dundee on 28 June 2026 is a functional fitness race at the Regional Performance Centre in Dundee. Entrants 18 or over can compete solo, in doubles, or in five person relays over Classic 10 x 400 m or 2X 10 x 800 m formats.

A roughly 5 mile trail race around Lochore Meadows Country Park with a woodland loop through Harran Hill Woods and lakeside sections. All finishers receive a medal and entrants must provide their own drinks.

A 24 hour charity relay at Lochore Meadows Country Park where participants run laps of a multi terrain 5K loop. Distances range from 5K to ultramarathon and facilities include refreshments, shelter and first aid.

A hill race on 25 July 2026 as part of the Falkland Gala. The course covers just under 6 miles with over 400 m of ascent across paths, fields and hillside, is well marshalled, and requires mandatory kit and personal hydration.
