A fully signposted 47 miles (75K) ultra around Lake Windermere with GPS tracking, six aid stations and a halfway bag drop. Competitors must register in person, carry mandatory kit and use the issued tracker for live monitoring.

A 40 mile ultra from Glenbuck Loch to Riverside Stadium in Ayr on 12 Sep 2026, featuring water stations, 10 mile checkpoints with food and drop-bag support. Relay teams of 2 or 3 split the route into 17, 14 and 9 mile sections.

Cronkley Fell Race is a 10.5 mile fell race with 1800 ft of ascent around Upper Teesdale and the River Tees. Organised by Durham Fell Runners, entries are via SI Entries and the entry price includes a free chip butty.

A 13 km marked trail race around Crosby Garrett with 400 m of ascent and views across the Eden and Lune valleys. Junior races run for ages U7 to U17 with on the day entry and separate junior fee.

A navigational fell event at Seathwaite Farm, Cumbria on 13 September 2026. Three courses from about 9 to 18 miles focus on mountaineering skills, navigation and route choice.

The Spirit of Axnfell will take place in Isle of Man on Sunday 13 September 2026. You can run 32 kilometers.

A 50 km trail ultra from Hawes Market House over Pen-y-Ghent on North Yorkshire limestone trails, with Ranger Ultras support, on-course provisions and navigation files provided. Entries limited to 50 and minimum age 20.

A 50 km ultra from Wooler through the Cheviot Hills on 19 September 2026 using a digital GPS route with an 11 hour limit. Aid stations, medical cover, GPS tracker and a finisher medal are provided; entries are limited and age 18 plus.

A Backyard Ultra at West Shields Farm where runners complete a 4.1 mile loop on the hour until one remains. The route mixes farmland, single track and woodland with food stations, tracking and on-site medical cover.

A trail event around Grasmere in the Lake District offering five routes from 9 km to 52 km across rugged fells, technical descents and mountain summits. Outposts, mandatory safety kit and a plastic free policy are enforced.

A 15.6 km route with 870 m of ascent across flagged forest tracks and open fell visiting five checkpoints, raising funds for Thornthwaite Church. Entry fee includes tea and homemade cake and limited parking is available.

A trail half marathon at Lakeland Maze Farm Park on Saturday 19th September 2026, finishing through the maze. Chip timing, aid stations, on-site parking and a cafe. Entry requires participants to be 18 or older and costs £35.

A 11.7 km Category BM fell race at Thropton Showfield in Coquetdale, held during the Thropton country show. Entry on the day only with modest fees, teams of three allowed, and proceeds support Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue.

Trail 10K and Half Marathon through Hamsterley Forest on 20 September 2026, with undulating, well marked routes among pines and clearings. Chip timing, a themed medal, free photos and a serviced event village are provided.

A multi-distance trail event in the Lake District National Park, 25 to 27 September 2026, linking the region's 13 valleys with races from 22.4 km to 184.3 km, ITRA points and Western States qualifiers, plus children's Future Valleys races.
