Trail Running calendar near Widdop 2026-2027

A trail 5k around Clowbridge Reservoir near Burnley, run as two anticlockwise laps from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club. Part of a three-race spring series on 16, 23 and 30 April 2026, open to ages 11 and over.

On 18 April 2026 Nightingale House Hospice stages 5 km and 10 km multi terrain runs at Alyn Waters Country Park with chip timing, marshals, water stations and finishers medals. A 1 km children's dash accepts on day entries.

Lakeside Relays is a charity relay at Haverthwaite Station near Ulverston, with mixed teams made on the day and all ages running together on a short 0.80 miles loop that gains about 60 feet.

Trail races around Temple Newsam run through open country, gardens and woodland, with four looped distances, regular feed stations and a bespoke finishers' medal.
