Burnsall 12k Trail Race

Burnsall 12k is a trail race held in Burnsall on 18 April 2026 as part of the Due North Trail series. The 12k route follows the first 12 kilometres of the half marathon course with a diversion at Appletreewick returning runners to the finish in Burnsall. The event is based at the Riverside Car Park field in Burnsall BD23 6BU.

The course is partially way marked and features drinks stations providing water and juice. Included for participants are a post race meal such as pie or soup, a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and goodies from race sponsors. Facilities at the venue include free car parking and a toilet block with male and female toilets. Minimum kit requirements specify a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle for water and a mobile phone with a location app such as OS Locate. The minimum age for entry is 17. Prize giving covers first to third places for male and female open and non binary categories and first places in V40, V50, V60 and V70 age groups.
