Burnsall 12k Trail Race

The Burnsall 12k Trail Race takes place on 18 April 2026 as part of the Due North Trail series. The route covers the first 12 kilometres of the half marathon course with a diversion at Appletreewick that returns runners to the finish area at Burnsall. The venue is the Riverside Car Park Field, Burnsall, BD23 6BU.

The course is partially way marked and offers drinks stations supplying water and juice. Included for entrants are a post race meal such as pie or soup, a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise, and goodies from race sponsors. Free car parking is provided at the venue. A toilet block with male and female toilets is located at the top of the car park.

Minimum age is 17. Minimum kit requirements specify a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, and a cup or bottle for drinks since cups are not provided at the drinks stations. Runners are advised to carry a mobile phone with a location app installed.

Prize giving includes awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in male and female categories, open and non binary categories, and first in V40, V50, V60 and V70 plus categories.
