Burnsall 12K is a trail race taking place on Saturday 18 April 2026 as part of the Due North Trail series. The event is supported by The North Face and Sportsshoes.com and is the first race of a trilogy where entering all three saves £7.50 and qualifies entrants for the series championship. Entry fees are UKA Member £25 and Non-UKA Member £27. The race is held under UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the TRA. Age restriction for all trail races is 17 and over.

The route follows the opening section of the Burnsall half marathon with a diversion at Appletreewick to return to the finish in Burnsall; the course measures close to 11 km and is fully way marked. A GPX file is available for the route. The start and finish are at the Riverside car park field in Burnsall Village; Due North marshalls will organise parking and direct runners to the registration tent.

On-course provision includes a drinks station offering water, juice, fruit and sweets, and post-race food. Additional inclusions are a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and sponsor items. Toilet blocks are located at the top of the car park and in the smaller car park across the bridge. Minimum kit is mandatory and includes a waterproof jacket, a cup or bottle for water and a mobile phone with a location app such as OS Locate. No dogs are allowed. Prizes are emailed to top finishers and veteran category winners. Organisers ask spectators not to drive or park on narrow country roads.
