Burnsall 12K

The Burnsall 12K is a trail race that takes place on Saturday 18 April 2026 in Burnsall Village. It is the first event in a trail race trilogy. Entering all three races in the series offers a discount and qualifies runners for the series championship.

The race starts and finishes at the Riverside Car park field in Burnsall Village. The route is approximately 11 kilometers long, following the first part of an existing half marathon course with a diversion from Appletreewick. The course is fully waymarked.

The event includes a drinks station with water, juice, fruit, and sweets. Post-race, participants receive food, a bottle of beer, merchandise, and other goodies from sponsors. There are toilet facilities available near the car park.

The event is licensed by UK Athletics and the TRA. There is an age restriction of 17 years or older.

Minimum Kit

Participants must bring specific mandatory equipment. This includes:

  • A waterproof jacket.
  • A cup or bottle for water, as no cups are provided.
  • A mobile phone with a location app.
