The Burnsall 12K is a trail race in Burnsall village, held on Saturday 18 April 2026. The route is the opening section of the Burnsall half marathon and is described as the first 10k of the half, with a diversion returning runners to the Burnsall finish; the organiser notes the route is actually closer to 11k. The event is the first race of a trilogy series; entering all three races gives a stated saving of £7.50 and qualifies entrants for the series championship. The event is supported by The North Face and Sportsshoes.com and is run under UK Athletics rules with TRA licence.

Course, facilities and entry

The venue is the riverside car park field in Burnsall village. The course is fully way marked and includes a drinks station offering water, juice, fruit and sweets, plus a post-race food offering, a bottle of beer and event merchandise and sponsor goodies. Toilet blocks are available in the car park and a smaller car park across the bridge. Age restriction for all trail races is 17+. Entry fees are listed as UKA Member £25 and Non-UKA Member £27. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, a cup or bottle for water and a mobile phone with a location app. No dogs are allowed on Due North races.
