Blacksheep 3 and 6 Hour Challenge

Set on the edge of the North Yorkshire Dales in Masham, this looped trail event runs near the Black Sheep Brewery and Masham Sports Club. The next scheduled race is on 5 July 2026, at the park close to Silver Street, Masham, Ripon HG4 4DY.

Runners complete repeated laps on a mainly off‑road course that includes one steady climb, stiles, fields, woodland paths and short road sections. Feed and drink stations are provided approximately every three miles. The course is marshalled and signed, though not every corner will have a marshal and some road crossings may be unmarshalled. GPX files are available for navigation.

Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a selection of treats; the event offers a beer and a sausage sandwich with alcohol‑free and vegetarian options noted in the event details. Toilets are available at the town market square. The organiser aims to be cup‑less at feed stations.

Entry options and basic fees are published; parking is available on the field with a £5 parking charge collected for local charitable causes. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association. Event guidelines include a restriction on large over‑ear headphones and advice on withdrawals and transfers or deferrals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
