Participant Information

Entrants must be at least 20 years old on race day and must have previously completed an organised ultramarathon of at least 50 miles. A single pacer is permitted from the halfway point (Frodsham Parish Hall) onwards. Support crews are welcome at most checkpoints, but are not permitted at Checkpoints 7, 10, and 12 due to parking and safety restrictions.

Participants must carry mandatory kit at all times, including a waterproof jacket, base layer, headtorch, survival bag, and a supplied GPS tracker. Random kit checks will be conducted. One drop bag is permitted for use at Checkpoints 6 and 11, which are at the same location.

The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. It awards ITRA and UTMB mountain performance index points (allocation to be confirmed). Finishers receive a belt buckle: gold for top 100, silver for places 100-200, and bronze for 201+. The race also features live online GPS tracking.
