Delamere Forest 10K, 21K and 42K
Delamere Forest hosts trail races organised by Run Through. The course runs through woodland on the Cheshire Plain and includes sections around Blakemere Moss, along the Sandstone Trail, and up Old Pale Hill for panoramic views of the Cheshire countryside. The event is presented as accessible to a wide range of participants and offers routes of different lengths.
All routes are waymarked with trail flags, tags, A5 arrows and signage. Marshals are positioned at major junctions to guide participants and provide encouragement. Organisers provide GPX files for each race route so runners can check their position and self-navigate if sections are disrupted by weather, walkers, or wildlife. The event uses the Old Pale event space and is located at Delamere Forest, Linmere, Delamere, Northwich, CW8 2HZ.
