Burnsall Trail Half
The Burnsall Trail Half is a half distance trail race set at the riverside location of Burnsall, starting and finishing at the Riverside Car Park Field (BD23 6BU). The route uses several sections of the Dales Way footpath and includes around 500 m of ascent with open fields, stone tracks and riverside paths. Climbs on the course offer 360 degree views of the Yorkshire Dales.
Included for participants are a partially way marked course, drinks stations with water and juice, a post race meal such as pie or soup, a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise, sponsor goodies and free car parking. Minimum kit requirements list a waterproof jacket with hood, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle for drinks stations and a mobile phone with a location app.
The event is part of the Due North Trail Race Series and has a minimum age of 17. Entry details in the source show entries opened 29 July 2025 and close 14 April 2026 with separate fees for UKA members and non members. Prize giving includes awards for first, second and third male and female plus age category prizes for V40, V50, V60 and V70 plus.
